Build for Heat and Simplicity
A Michelada is made for a hot day, but sun and sand reward a simple setup. Bring chilled Manny’s Ultimate Michelada Mix, cold lager or nonalcoholic beer, lime wedges, a lidded cup, and a small container of chili salt. Leave the oversized garnish bar at home.
Keep Ingredients in the Cooler
Warm beer foams more and tastes flatter. Store both beer and mix cold until the moment you build the drink. Pour the mix over ice first, add lime, then slowly top with beer. Close the cooler immediately after each use.
Try a Half Rim
Wet only half of the cup’s rim with lime and dip it in chili salt. A half rim gives you a seasoned sip and a clean sip while reducing loose salt near the sand. If cups have lids, season the drinking edge lightly instead of the entire rim.
Protect the Drink
Use reusable cups with lids and never bring glass where it is prohibited. Keep citrus and other food garnishes in sealed containers. Pack out every can, cup, and lime peel when the day is over.
Make the Alcohol Optional
Nonalcoholic lager creates the same cold, spicy, carbonated experience for drivers and anyone taking a break from alcohol. Manny’s provides the complete savory base, so changing the beer does not mean giving up the drink.
